What is ZipF?
ZipF is a physical AI data intelligence company: a queryable event graph of the real world, licensed to the teams that train, map, insure, and move through it. The name is spoken Ziff, the same as George Kingsley Zipf.
Language models ate the internet. World models need the street. Public dumps over-sample clear weather and marked lanes. Planners fail on mixed traffic, two-wheelers, pedestrians in the carriageway, animals, unmarked geometry, monsoon, night, and work zones. ZipF writes those scenes as structured events: class, track, surface, weather, time, place, and a rarity rank. Faces and plates are gone before a cut is licensed. The sellable unit is anonymized physical state.
The Physical Event Graph is the asset. Intelligence is the product. Every machine that leaves a screen, and every desk that prices the world without moving, is a buyer. ADAS is the first body with a budget. World-model labs, map desks, parametric insurers, cities, humanoids, last-mile robots, aerial last-fifty-meters, spatial computing, and sovereign physical-state feeds consume the same events. Roads are the first surface because they are the highest-frequency public physical process on earth. The same schema extends to sidewalks, stairs, yards, ports, rural tracks, and the weather that joins all of them. India is the first geography: inner roads, not highways. Asian cities that share that road fabric are next.
The company is named for Zipf's law because physical scenes follow the same curve as language: a few things happen a lot and most things happen a little. We rank the tail and sell it.
